Phillips 66 is donating $750,000 toward the Greater Houston Disaster Alliance.

Powered by the Greater Houston Community Foundation and the United Way of Greater Houston, the alliance will strengthen year-round disaster preparedness for the greater Houston area, ensuring that the region has the social service network and systems in place to respond rapidly and effectively in times of a disaster.

Fostering Community Vitality

Education Equity

We invest in education equity, because literacy and workforce preparedness are the foundation of individual achievement and our economic future. And, to build a more diversified and equitable workforce in the science, technology, engineering and math disciplines, we seek and support academic training and education opportunities with a focus on young women, girls and underrepresented minorities.

Living Our Core Values

We invest in safety and well-being programs because we are committed to protecting community residents from the effects of natural disasters and believe that preparedness is crucial for safety and security. We also recognize the social, emotional, physical and financial well-being of our neighbors is vital to a thriving community, so we support organizations that provide the services and care needed to ensure that their basic needs are met.

We invest in nature conservation and biodiversity because we respect and value their influence in our daily lives. We believe that community residents deserve equal access and proximity to nature’s beauty. Early education and immersion in nature are particularly valuable for underprivileged youth as they develop a sense of place and belonging.
