HOUSTON – (Oct. 22, 2024) – Phillips 66® Aviation, one of the largest refiners in the United States and a major jet and avgas fuel supplier to general aviation, commercial and military aviation, presented a $23,460 donation to Corporate Angel Network (CAN) as part of its ongoing support for the organization. CAN provides free transportation for cancer patients on corporate aircraft, enabling them to reach specialized medical centers for treatment.

“Corporate Angel Network deeply appreciates the longstanding support of Phillips 66 Aviation,” said Robert Stangarone, President and CEO, Corporate Angel Network. “They have been a reliable and valued partner in our efforts to enhance and save the lives of so many cancer patients who are going through the most difficult times of their lives.”

The check was awarded during the 2024 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) as part of Phillips 66® Aviation’s annual sponsorship of the Corporate Angel Award. The prestigious Corporate Angel Award recognizes corporations and flight departments that have shown outstanding dedication to advancing CAN’s mission. This year’s recipients include EmpireCLS, Honeywell, MassMutual, and Textron Aviation.

“With Corporate Angel Network’s success and commitment to helping families access essential medical care, we are honored to support the organization once again and present this award at NBAA-BACE,” said Sunny Lopez, Manager, Phillips 66® Aviation. “Their achievements highlight the important role aviation can play in helping to alleviate travel burdens for those in need.”
